When I came up with the idea to make this post, I thought I would have a lot more to say about this. But I don’t. Being that this was their first go at the structure and we are now a couple of months into the launch of season 2, I wanted to give some thoughts as to how it went…
1. Respawn has a lot of work to do concerning the general stability of the game. I haven’t played a game this laggy since...I don’t even know the lag is just fucking terrible and it needs to be fixed asap. So far, it seems to have gotten worse from season 1 with the “net” and “leaf” errors plaguing many. Besides, people with bad connections could be considered cheaters as it is near impossible to hit someone going through a lag spike. I've been learning this the hard way playing solo mode.
Fuck you bro.
2. Fix pathfinder*. Yes, I get it a lot of streamers love him and he has a great kit to win a lot of games and rack up high kill counts. But that combined with the hitbox makes me lose my shit every time. Also, I need Pathfinder mains to realize that you’re seriously not guaranteed to hit all your shots on him regardless of how much “better” it has gotten since season 1. I think a good balance would be to give pathfinder the fortified buff combined with a larger hitbox to reflect his large stature compared to everyone else.*
Would you buy any of these for $18 when you can get 10 chances to get that same item for $10?
3. The Item Shop is so garbage and it is laughable Respawn thinks we will spend 20 bucks on very, very mediocre skins. I would rather take my chances on loot boxes (Apex Packs) than to buy stuff from the shop, and that’s sad. With the recent solo event, they’ve doubled down on this philosophy and has added even MORE loot boxes. I will have more to say in another post but this it's about time EA reared its ugly head into the affairs of this game, took them long enough

4. Gibby may need some sort of rework because I know his pick rate is under 1%. He has a lot of potential but falls short for some reason on most team comps. He feels…sluggish. When you watch him in-game videos or cinematics he always seems like a majestic whale flying through the sky on some free willy shit but when you play him it's more like Jabba the Hutt. I hope that they do not wait as long as overwatch did to change how characters work if they are not being used.
*that was more of an angry rant because I am tired of people playing Legends like Pathfinder or Wraith/Lifeline and thinking they are not being assisted at all. Its not a damn coincidence they are the most commonly used Legends in the game, and this is coming from a Lifeline main!
